Jackie Aleman has a diverse litigation and arbitration background. She has routinely represented brokerage firms, banks, companies, and individuals in arbitration and litigation involving customers, employees, and other institutions. An innate problem solver, Jackie has been involved in state and federal court litigation, and arbitrations involving commercial and employment disputes. Select examples include claims for injunctive relief and damages for violation of restrictive covenants, theft of trade secrets, breach of contract, fraud, and tortious interference. Jackie has also resolved hundreds of business disputes through negotiation and mediation, eliminating both the cost and risk of litigation.

Before moving to the U.S., Jackie worked as an associate at a top-tier global law firm in Caracas, Venezuela. She advised multinational companies on corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and a variety of other corporate and compliance work.

Jackie regularly appears on CNN en Espanol, speaking on a variety of legal topics involving business law and securities litigation and regulation. She has also been a guest on multiple radio shows in Latin America as a legal commentator.

Jackie graduated with a law degree from Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas and holds a J.D. and LL.M. in International Law from the University of Miami where she served as a Deans Fellow in Legal Communication and Research Skills and participated in the Investor Rights Clinic.
