Mark Sweetheimer

IT Manager

Mark Sweetheimer fully recognizes the value of customer service skills in business, and the importance of providing the highest level of service with a positive attitude. He learned that lesson early on while working his first job at his family’s business – a client-facing role that handled the recycling and refurbishing PCs, printers, scanners, and peripherals.

Therefore, Mark’s career in Technology began from the classic fundamental stages of putting pieces together before taking them apart again to understand how they worked. While the position at his family business was his first “unofficial” technology job, it would propel Mark forward throughout life and lead him to his position of IT Manager for Christie’s International Real Estate Group.

Mark’s first official IT job out of school in Harrisburg, PA was scrapping printers and computers for resell parts. He then became an employee at the state government for many years. His career has continued to evolve with the pace of technology and the needs of his support base. The diverse and wide-ranging clients over the years have given Mark a unique advantage in troubleshooting and devising solutions to ultimately help his fellow colleagues and clients use their technology at the optimal level.

For the last decade now, Mark has been focusing and supporting the needs of the real estate agents he supports. It provides a constant flow of projects, while making every single day a unique adventure as Markputs it. “I’m pleased to be using my skills to support the employees and agents in each office here at Christie’s International Real Estate Group. My job is never dull. I very much enjoy the challenge and being able to solve problems. It is my goal to try to make the computing experience better for every person that I can support in my own way. Technology is supposed to make your life easier; seeing that light bulb moment of clarity for someone and helping our agents to be more productive and efficient is what makes me smile every day.
