Jackie Aleman serves as Chief Legal Officer at Christie’s International Real Estate Group, where she leads the company’s legal strategy and compliance framework across all business operations. In this executive role, Jackie advises on a broad spectrum of matters including brokerage operations, complex commercial transactions, employment law, risk management, and corporate governance. She plays a key role in shaping policy and managing legal risk in a dynamic, high-value real estate environment.

Prior to joining Christie’s, Jackie built a diverse litigation and arbitration practice. She represented brokerage firms, financial institutions, corporations, and executives in high-stakes matters involving restrictive covenants, theft of trade secrets, employment disputes, fraud, tortious interference, and contract breaches. Her experience spans state and federal courts as well as FINRA and AAA arbitrations. A strategic problem-solver, she has successfully resolved hundreds of business disputes through negotiation and mediation, helping clients avoid the cost and uncertainty of protracted litigation.

Before relocating to the U.S., Jackie practiced law at a top-tier global firm in Caracas, Venezuela, where she advised multinational clients on corporate transactions, M&A, joint ventures, and compliance matters—laying the groundwork for her cross-border legal fluency and business-oriented mindset. Jackie is also a recognized media commentator, regularly appearing on CNN en Español and Latin American radio programs to discuss developments in business law, securities regulation, and corporate governance.

She holds a law degree from Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas, a J.D., and an LL.M. in International Law from the University of Miami, where she was a Dean’s Fellow in Legal Communication and a member of the Investor Rights Clinic. Jackie is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, Washington, D.C., and Florida.
