With over 20 years of experience, Sonja is the Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Christie’s International Real Estate Group, serving New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. With the flagship office at 1 Rockefeller Plaza in Manhattan and as a regional market leader, the company markets some of the most distinctive properties throughout the tri-state region. Sonja is responsible for all aspects of brokerage management including operations and training programs, corporate business development and marketing, including the marketing of distinctive properties and new development projects, media and public relations, managing strategic partnerships and expansion to new territories. Sonja also manages the brokerage’s relationship with Christie’s Auction House and other Christie’s affiliates worldwide. She has organized and collaborated with many successful lifestyle events, showcasing Christie’s real estate services and properties, including The Palm Beach Modern and Contemporary Art Show, Art Miami, Hamptons Fine Art Fair, Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, The Rockefeller Estate Auctions, and the Rolls Royce Phantom VIII Launch, to name some. She has appeared on CNBC’s Secret Lives of the Super Rich, NBC Open House, CBS Living Large, Haute Residence Live and is a frequent contributor to The Real Deal and other publications. Properties marketed by Sonja and her team have been regularly featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, NY Post, The Real Deal, Robb Report, Mansion Global, Modern Luxury and Hamptons Magazine, among others.

Prior to Christie’s, Sonja spent over a decade in leadership positions on Wall Street. From 2011-2013, she served as Vice President at TD Financial Group. From 2001-2011, Sonja was employed by Fidelity Investments in New York, where she was Senior Director in the Institutional Brokerage Division, holding her Series 7, 63, and 24 licenses. In 2011, she was awarded the Fidelity President’s Award for her leadership and service.

Sonja holds a Bachelors in Finance and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Management from the Stern School of Business at New York University and has completed an executive development program at Harvard University. She supports and is actively involved in several philanthropic organizations and served as a member of the Board of Governors of The Ramapo College of New Jersey.
